In this article I would like to provide you the information about how to use new SAP BO Reporting tool SAP BO analysis Edition for OLAP with SAP HANA Cube.

SET up Analysis OLAP for SAP HANA

1. Click on below links to login SAP BO CMC http://xxxx:8080/BOE/CMC
User: Administrator
Password: xxxxxx

Login BI lauchpad http://xxxxx:8080/BOE/BI
User: Administrator
Password: xxxxxx

2. Select OLAP Connection From BO CMC Home.

3. Select on New Connection

4. Select on provider -> SAP HANA. Enter name of your connection, description, server information and port of SAP HANA and continue by selecting connect button

5. Enter your username and password login to data source SAP HANA and press Ok.

6. Choice of one OLAP Connection per SAP HANA view. Select on package -> Analytical/Calculation view. You can save your connection

7. Now, Log in to Sap BI LaunchPad

8. Go to home -> My Application and select on Analysis Edition for OLAP

9. Choose your connection and press ok. Enter your credentials to log on to your connection.

10. In this scenario I wanted to analyse SHOP_NAME, FISCAL_PERIOD, CITY, MARGIN, AMOUNT_SOLD, QUANTITY_SOLD and Sales revenue. So I added measures to Columns and attributes to Rows.

Now, the report looks like below:
