Uploading SFLIGHT ZIP file in SAP HANA through FTP Server

In this document, I will explain “how to upload a ZIP file in SAP HANA through FTP server “.

1. Download https://images.experiencesaphana.com/media/medialibrary/2012/05/sflight.zip and unpacked SFLIGHT file.

2. Use FTP Client to transfer SFLIGHT file into SAP HANA Server on following path /usr/sap/HDB/HDB01/work

 3. Now go into your HANA Studio, and choose File > Import... from the main menu

4. On the popup, pick SAP HANA Studio -> select Catalog Object and press Next button to continue.

5. As import location, enter /usr/sap/HDB/HDB01/work. If you chose a different folder for upload or extraction of the file(s), enter the path to the directory that contains the index sub-directory

6. You should see the Next -> button enabled and on the next screen you should see the list of available table

7. Select Import Catalog and Data and press Finish button

8. Now, you can view table contains in SFLIGHT Schema in Sap HANA studio
